The official 10-coin United States Mint Proof Set for 2002 is now available - the fourth annual set in the ten-year series celebrating each of the 50 states. Few coins today have the degree of artistry and detail that is so beautifully revealed in a proof coin. The set includes all five proof quarters issued under the 50 State Quarters Program for 2002 and celebrates the unique heritage of the states - Tennessee "Musical Heritage"; Ohio "Birthplace of Aviation Pioneers"; Louisiana "Louisiana Purchase"; Indiana "Crossroads of America"; and Mississippi the "Magnolia State." The set also include proof versions of the Lincoln cent, Jefferson nickel, Roosevelt dime, Kennedy half-dollar and Golden Dollar - ten coins in all.

The 2002 United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set® is now available - the fourth set in the ten-year series celebrating each of the 50 states. This year ten new 2002 coins in uncirculated condition will be minted at both the Denver and Philadelphia Mint facilities - the Golden Dollar featuring Sacagawea, the Kennedy half dollar, Roosevelt dime, Jefferson nickel, Lincoln cent and five new quarters in the 50 State Quarters Program. The set consists of two envelopes - one containing ten coins from the Denver Mint facility bearing the "D" mint mark and the other containing ten coins from the Philadelphia Mint facility bearing the "P " mint mark - twenty coins in all.
