2002 Olympic Winter Games Gold Uncirculated Five Dollar Coin

The 2002 Olympic Winter Games Commemorative Proof Gold Five Dollar Coin was designed by Donna Weaver, U.S. Mint Sculptor/Engraver. The obverse features the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games Crystal Emblem superimposed on top of the Games' secondary identity mark entitled: "Rhythm of the Land." The reverse features the Olympic flame in relief atop a cauldron.

This is a high quality, newly minted uncirculated coin produced with special care. Each coin is placed in a protective plastic capsule, packaged in a premium gift box with tray and sleeve, accompanied by its own official Certificate of Authenticity.

Metal composition of the coin is 90% gold and 10% alloy; diameter is 0.850 (± 0.003) inches or 21.59 (± 0.08) mm and the weight is 8.359 (± 0.042) grams.

This uncirculated commemorative gold five-dollar coin is U.S. legal tender and is backed by the U.S. Government for weight and content.
